Poles Saving Jews

We present the stories of the Świętokrzyskie Province families. During World War II these families helped their Jewish neighbours and friends, often risking their own lives. The Yad Vashem Institute recognised about 280 Świętokrzyskie Province's residents who helped Jews and awarded the "Righteous Among the Nations". However, this is just a fraction of those who offered their help to Jews.

Each story we present is accompanied with the historians' commentary by Ewa Kołomańska from the Museum of the Kielce Region Countryside and the Ethnographic Park and Tomasz Domański PhD. from the Kielce branch of the Institute of National Remembrance.
